【Invitation】2026/09/16(Wed.) MedZero: Reshaping the Global Healthcare Ecosystem

As climate change continues to challenge the resilience of healthcare systems, how can we balance quality of care with sustainable development? Taipei Medical University will host the international conference “MedZero: Reshaping the Global Healthcare Ecosystem” on 16 September 2026, focusing on:

・Sustainable healthcare in Asia

・Healthcare waste and plastics circularity

・Digital decarbonisation

・The circular economy

The conference will bring together Professor Nick Watts, Director of the Centre for Sustainable Medicine at the National University of Singapore, and Ruth Stringer, International Science and Policy Coordinator at Health Care Without Harm (HCWH), alongside representatives from six institutions — including the TMU Healthcare System, Taipei Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Tzu Chi Hospital. Together, they will connect global trends with practical initiatives in Taiwan and explore pathways towards the low-carbon and circular transformation of healthcare.

**Faculty and staff participants are eligible to receive six hours of continuing education credit.**
