Occupational Safety and Health Training for New Staff / Assistants

In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, all new staff must complete 3 hours of safety and health training before starting work (including 2 hours of online training and 1 hour of face-to-face training).

  • Online Course (2 hours)

Please follow the instructions in the website([link]) to complete the 2-hour course on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s digital learning platform. After completion, upload your learning record to the appointment system.

The appointment process will not be valid if the record is not uploaded.

  • Face-to-Face Course (1 hour)

Complete the “Occupational Safety and Health Training Record Form” ([link]). On the first day of employment, the on-site supervisor/PI will provide hazard notification, emergency response information, and other relevant instructions. After signing, submit the form to the Environmental Safety Office for record-keeping, or scan and email it to safety@tmu.edu.tw. (For reappointed personnel who have a new PI, please complete a new training record form.)

Note: Please refer to the materials provided by the College of Public Health for further guidance.

  • Public Health College Pre-Employment Occupational Safety and Health Training (1-Hour Face-to-Face Course Reference Materials)

You may refer to the pre-employment Occupational Safety and Health training materials provided by the College.

New assistants/part-time staff are requested to fill out the table below.

The system will then send the relevant email content, which can serve as a reference for the 1-hour face-to-face training.

    Thank you.
