[Congratulations] Four faculty/students from College of Public Health have been selected among the 2025 “Top 2% of Global Scientists”

Stanford University and the internationally renowned academic publisher Elsevier have recently released the “2025 Global Top 2% Scientists List” (Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List 2025). In total, our university has 46 scholars selected, of whom 26 professors made the “Lifetime Scientific Impact List”, and 36 professors made the “Annual Scientific Impact List”. Moreover, 16 scholars were honored on both the lifetime and annual lists—demonstrating not only our university’s outstanding research strength and international impact, but also showing that our research achievements are repeatedly recognized on the world stage.

The 2025 list is divided into two categories:

  • Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking: evaluates a scientist’s long‑term academic contributions over their entire career. At our university, the selected scholars span medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health, medical technology, biomedical engineering, and management, with 26 professors honored.

  • Annual Scientific Impact Ranking: assesses research performance in the recent year, reflecting each scholar’s latest scientific output.

This year, our College alone had four scholars selected. The award not only represents individual recognition of their research excellence, but also showcases the international influence of our faculty’s research results and talent cultivation. It carries significant meaning for promoting research collaborations and translating our work into societal value.
