Ph.D

1.The College of Public Health includes three Master departments: School of Public Health, Graduate Institute of Injury Prevention and Control, and Ph.D. Program in Global Health and Health Security.

2.Eligibility:

(1) Identity and Nationality:

A foreign national who has never held Chinese overseas student status prior to application, and who complies with the Taiwan Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as “MoE”), “Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan”, and other applicable regulations.

(2) Educational/Academic Qualifications:

Applicants with evidence of a Master degree accredited by MoE or students graduating by every July from MoE accredited Master degree programs. Visit https://bit.ly/2X5K9aI for a list of recognized foreign universities published by the MoE.

  1. Academic credentials:
  1. Master’s degree (or above) graduation certificate, or documents of equivalent educational level.
  2. Full transcript of Master’s degree (or above) including explanation of grading system
  1. Proof of nationality with English name, date of birth, gender and photo (e.g.passport)
  2. Photograph
  3. English proficiency
  4. Statement of purpose
  5. Resume and personal statemen
  6. Applicants shall provide a latest 3 months financial statement reflecting at least USD4,000. It does not need to be authenticated at this stage.

Ph.D. Program in Global Health and Health Security
