TMU International Graduate Student Scholarship Regulations and Qualifications
(Applied to awardees who entered in AY 2019/108 and later and new scholarship applicants)
Admission Questions
A.
Eligible applicants must meet the following requirements.
- Applications are neither Taiwan R.O.C. citizens nor overseas Chinese
- Applications who had Taiwan R.O.C. nationality, must have given up their Taiwan R.O.C. nationality for 8 years or more and approved ny the Ministry of the Interior Taiwan R.O.C. Counting back from the day of application, applicants must have continuously resided abroad for more than 6 years(8 years for school of Medicine and School of Dentistry applicants)

You can apply for up to 2 programs. However, each student can enroll in one program only.

*Applicants who apply the International Ph.D. Program in Medicine:
◼All applicants must demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency in English for admission. You will need to submit an English proficiency certificate at CEFR B2 (Vantage) or above .
◼ English-Language Test Waiver
Applicants will be exempted from submitting English-proficiency scores if you hold a bachelor’s Master’s degree completed in its entirety in an Englishspeaking country. Approved English-speaking countries are Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and United States of America.
*Applicants who apply the International Master Program in Medicine:

◼ English-Language Test Waiver
Applicants will be exempted from submitting English-proficiency scores if you hold a bachelor’s degree completed in its entirety in an English-speaking country. Foreign and overseas Chinese students who wish to attend school in Taiwan may apply through the online registration and certification system with an admission permit/notice or certificate of enrollment and registration provided by the attending school within 15 days after arriving in Taiwan.
