1	Student Enrollment	March 1 – March 31
2	Student Online Learning Period	April 10 – July 31
3	TMU confirms the completion of the course and score review	August 1 – August 31
4	Student registration	TMU will notify students to register on TMU-STEP (Short-Term Exchange Program) platform upon the confirmation is made.
5	Issuance of Certificates	The Office of Global Engagement (OGE), TMU, will issue a certificate to students in the first half of 2023.

Background

Covid-19’s pandemic has given the world a great impact that raises the awareness of the importance of public health and medical management and the formation of their related professionals of higher education. The types of cross-border exchange have been changing along with the maturity of the application technology of internet and online platforms that brings physical conference to virtual; and more opportunity of international education and international collaboration has been created accordingly.

To encourage students to learn about public health and medical management related issues and realize the goal of cultivating professionals in these fields, the College of Public Health and the College of Management of Taipei Medical University (TMU) is now providing 2 courses of the belonging fields such as the pictures below that involves current issues and practical applications via E-Learning platform. Students can be certified by the formal certificate of completion and credit certificate upon the finalization of certain requirements as the recognition of possessing public health’s knowledge.

Type 1	Get to know sufficient knowledge on the “international public health” to the entry level of public health professional.	Complete 30 hours of public health field. Hand in 1 Student Report.	Certificate of Completion Credit Certificate of 2 credits on the “International Health Research Course” *Students affiliate in the College of Public Health can waive 2 credits.
Type 2	Get to know the overview on the “medical management” and its public health spirit.	Complete 20 hours of management field. Complete 10 hours of public health field.	Certificate of Completion Credit Certificate of 2 credits on the “Management case study - an EBM approach” *Students affiliate in the College of Management can waive 2 credits.
