Dear Colleagues & Friends,

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Singapore International Public Health Conference (SIPHC) & 17th Singapore Public Health & Occupational Medicine Conference  (PHOM) is back in October 2023.

Jointly organised by the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, and the College of Public Health and Occupational Physicians, Academy of Medicine, Singapore, the joint conference is held every four years. It brings together an international, multi-sectoral and multi-disciplinary panel of stakeholders in public health and occupational health. This conference offers a platform for robust discourse in public health actions and practices with impact at the national, regional and international levels.

With Asia at the epicentre of the many profound public health challenges brought about by the juxtaposition of developed countries and emerging economies, compounded by the dual challenges in the rise in infectious and chronic disease burdens, the conference theme of “Embracing the Future” will focus the discussion on opportunities and new innovations in addressing these increasingly complex issues. It will also enable the inquisition into the use of technology and digital platforms in fostering better health for both the working and resident populations.

Mark your calendar and keep a lookout for exciting updates from us!
